YOUNG LOVE, SWEET LOVE -- Antoinette and Dingdong. Kim and Dino. Sunshine and Polo.

Remember those names, those tandems. They will likely be around five, 10 years from now. By that time they'll be doing mature, serious roles. Like that ones being played now by Sharon Cuneta, Maricel Soriano, Aiko Melendez, Richard Gomez, Aga Muhlach, Albert Martinez.

But in the meantime, it's juvenile roles for the three love teams in movies like "Honey, My Love So Sweet," produced by Viva and directed by Boots Plata based on the story-script by RJ Nuevas and Suzette Doctolero. What can be more saccharine than that title -- so apt for the sweet couples? To repeat and be more complete: Antoinette Taus and Dingdong Dantes, Kim de los Santos and Dino Guevarra, Sunshine Dizon and Polo Ravales.

The movie is all about young love, sweet love -- summer romance with touches of heartaches and heartjoys teenagers undergo. It's a world all their own, even the language is alien to adults.

Antoinette is, would you believe, a man hater. Kim, on the other hand, is always in love, to the point of being irritating. Sunshine is tomboyish and had no time for boys. For one reason or the other, Antoinette influences Kim and Sunshine to hate men... boys really.

Not for long though as Dingdong, Dino, and Polo enter the picture.
