Welcome everyone! Here is a short introduction (after the graduation in 1995): I ...


    Received my bachelor of science degree in Telecommunication Electronics from Amirkabir University of Technology in Dec 1995.

    Was engaged with two major companies, Kish Telecommunication Industries and AEEE International, dealing with Data Communication and Networking Issues, from Dec 1995 to June 1997.

    Travelled to Germany and UK in June 1997 and started the Master of Sceince degree in Data Communication Systems offered by Brunel University of Western London in junction with interACTIV Multimedia Production GmbH in south of Germany (I got trained and worked full time in defferent directions and aspects of Multimedia Applications terminated with my final Master Thesis).

    Migrated to Canada, Toronto in August 1999 and meanwhile received my H1-B visa in United States. I started working full time in Baltimore, Maryland (USA) at end of August 1999 as an Information Associates dealing with Networks, LANs and WANs and Medical Applications, while started getting trained in my MCSE (Microsoft Certified System's Engineer) classes, from August 1999 to January 2000 .

    Went back to Canada, Vancouver in Februaury 2000 and applied for my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (started in September 2000) majoring in Mobile Communications and also started part time jobs as a:

      Technical Instructor (instructing Micro-Controller MC68HC11 and MC68HC12, Pentium III Computer Organization and Pentium III Assembly Language) at BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology), and a

      Research Associate in VoIP (Voice over IP and Internet Telephony) at Simon Fraser University.

    Was offered a full-time position as a Senior Verification Engineer by Nortel Networks in Ottawa and I moved to Ontario in November 2000. Currently I work on trials, test cases and sanitizing RFC 1812 (Basic Requirements for Routers), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP-4 (Border Gateway Protocol version 4) PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) and MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) and verification of IEEE standards, QoS (Quality of Service) in routing environments (Cisco, Juniper, Bay, IXIA,...) and etc.

    Restarted my Ph.D. with the course Stochastic Processes at the University of Ottawa as a special student (I am trasferring my admission from Vancouver to Ottawa) in January 2001.
