Dear Sister Isenburg:
Thank you for your letter in which you shared your concerns regarding the General Conference requesting other SDA churches not use the name.
I believe you are referring to churches who wish to be considered Seventh-day Adventist churches but operate independent of the organization. I assure you that if they belong to the sisterhood of churches (which make up a Conference) they are certainly free to use the title, Seventh-day Adventist. However, you can understand that if someone operates outside of the organization, there could be much confusion when things go awry, i.e. Waco.
The devil will use all avenues to destroy souls in these last days. Please know that I appreciate your attention to last day events.
