Now For Some Personal Details :

Born in HILDESHEIM, Germany on the 3rd of November 1932, I came to Australia in 1960 and live now in Elizabeth,SOUTH - AUSTRALIA Worked in a few places including my own business, and retired in 1992 in the GAS AND OIL industry. Lived all the years in South-Australia and now over 30 years in my own HOUSE. Never been married, but what is wrong with that?

WOODWORK:
Where I like to work on model CARS and making things for around the house and garden.
Now in 1999 I have startet on a Modeltrain layout in HO scale in a garden shed.About 3x2.7m.
STAMP COLLECTING:
My main interest there is Australia and Germany from 1960 onwards. Any other stamps are also welcome in my P.O BOX

COMPUTING:

I used my first computer in my business in 1978. 8" floppy with 64K memory, Then private a C64, an Amstrad 2086 and wow,with a 30mb HDD and now a pentium MMX 166
I also was running a BBS for over a year and this was also very interesting, but stressful and time consuming. Now I enjoy the Internet and meeting people.

BUSH_WALKING (HIKES):
I used to go every week, but lately I must find less steep hills. I enjoy the NATURE and the people I walk with.

TRAVEL:
I have been to many countries. Denmark, Belgium, Thailand, France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, Luxenbourg, Japan, Hongkong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Fiji, New-Zealand,UK,Indonesia and the U.S.A, Sweden, Canada,Philippines.. I have also been on 3 ship trips, Through the Suez and Panama Canal and round South Africa. I have also been in different flying machines like a Glider, Balloon, 4 Seater Plane. A few 4 props to a 747 Plane.This year,also a Helicopter flight to a NZ Glacier. Here is a picture I have taken from a plane coming into ADELAIDE.



GARDENING:
I enjoy my garden, not so much the hard work but the view.
