What about Wooster by Night?

Wooster by Night differs in some significant ways from the physical Wooster. It is significantly larger, with 1,112,000 in the population. It has two airports, one international, a football team, a conference center, a music and performing arts center, and many other institutions which do not, in reality, make up part of the fabric of Wooster, OH.

Below is a partial listing of the fictional places of Wooster by Night, as well as maps of Wooster and Wooster by Night.

The Fairway Convention Center

Located near the Wooster International Airport, This is a full-service conference center with an affiliated hotel. Every year at New Year's, the conference center is taken over for an enormous party. The host of this party is Mr. Richard Fairway, a man who has never been a Wooster Resident.

The Wooster Stadium

This Stadium is on the West side of town, and is where the Wooster Football team plays.

The Donkey's Rest

This night spot has been in continuous operation since 1959. It is currently owned by Gilda Mann, and is housed in a former movie theater. The Marquee and the tile mosaic facade are still in place, and club entrants stop at the original ticket booth on concert nights to pay their cover fee. The club features live entertainment every Tuesday night in addition to frequent special events. The interior of the club is decorated in a sleek 1950s motif, featuring a mezzanine which overlooks the main floor and a long bar tended by a somewhat quirky bartender named Chuck. The club is open daily from 6pm to 2am, but if you are among the priveleged few granted access during the staff prep time (between 3pm and 6pm most days) you may meet Gilda's cat Archimedes, who is given free run of the club during the day. The club also has available private meeting rooms which can be reserved or obtained on a first come, first served basis.
