Beef Stroganoff Look-Alike

Back when I was young and in love... okay, I'm still young and in love. Back when I was an inexperienced cook who only had a binder full of recipes I'd snagged from my mom, the net, and some magazines to cook by, I had a fiancee who loved Beef Stroganoff, something my Mom had never made to my memory. I'd never seen a recipe for that stuff, but threw this together.

1 (10 oz) can reduced fat condensed cream of chicken soup
1 soup can skim milk
1 lb extra lean ground beef
Garlic powder and pepper to taste

Brown and drain ground beef. Add soup and milk. Add spices. Stir over medium heat until smooth textured and warmed through. Serve over egg noodles.

Now that I *have* seen recipes for actual beef stroganoff, I have to say that mine is much simpler, tastes good, and is probably a lot better for you anyway. Besides, it helps keep the soup companies in business.
