1947 piece franked on both sides with thirty, 10 won green stamps (Korea Scott#73). All stamps are cancelled with a commemorative red cancellation marking the resumption of air mail service to America. The cancellation is dated "1947.8.7" or August 8th, 1947. The stamp depicts Admiral Yi Soon-shin who was famous for repelling Japanese invaders in the late 16th century.
