my name is Ric, and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I make my home in Portland, Oregon. I am a caring kind of guy with a compassionate nature.

In my spare time, you might find me in any part of the house, remodeling, or outside working in the yard. I love flowers and mowing and trimming. I enjoy creating and keeping my topiary in tip top shape. You might say I am a jack of all trades!

I am a music man, and playing my grand piano relaxes and centers me and puts me in touch with my inner self. It makes me happy, and I try to play every day. Music is my passion, and I listen to a wide variety...... classical, pop, religious, and even show tunes. I can also play all of these on the piano. Cheyenne loves to sit next to me and help me play.

I have three grown sons, the twins Kevin and Chris and my youngest son, Scott. I am very proud of them.

I also have two granddaughters, Cheyenne 4, and Madison, born March 24th (just three days old in this picture). There are many more pictures of my family and me, in my Photo Gallery.

I suffer from brain stem damage, caused from a severe electrolyte imbalance, that has affected my vision and mobility. I have been through years of therapy to learn the tricks that allow me to venture out into public with minor assistance.

And, of course..... I'm always up for new conversations. The characters I most admire are warm, friendly and understanding. Oh, and someone who can make me laugh. HA! Write to me; let's get acquainted! I love making new friends. I will answer all my mail. I love to write!
