EDITOR'S CHOICE - "Bard", by Janet Upcher
After sunset, or when a light is turned off,
an afterglow can sometimes be seen.
This illustrates that even when darkness comes,
hope is still present in the faint, brief glimmer
of the afterglow.
The light has not gone completely, after all,
and peace is still possible.
