A typical Claymore Mine used for perimeter defence. A
claymore mine is the last defense when the enemy is
about to break through the perimeter! These were used
as defensive weapons for night positions and perimeter
defense. We would set them out at night and collect
them again in the morning. They were detonated by a
wire and a hand held firing device. They could be blown
without giving away your position. Now, if you can NOT
read or understand English, then DO NOT get too nosy!
