Ringette Teams Hit Ice to Practice For Season

Ringette gets underway this weekend at McLaren Arena in Penticton, with all age groups hitting the ice for the first time this season.

Opening practices for Sunday at McLaren will be 8:15 - 10:15am for Tweens, Juniors, Belles and Debs (ages 12 and up), followed at 10:30 - 11:30am for Bunnies, Novice and Petites (ages 11 and under).

This is an oppertunity for all interested to come out and try Ringette, and to register for the season.

At 11:30am, Sunday the Junior Ringette All-Stars who have been practicing since early september, will be on the ice, and those who want to view a fast-paced practice are welcome to watch.

Regular practices begin Monday at McLaren Arena for Bunnies, Novice and Petites (5:15-7:15pm); and Tuesday at McLaren for Tweens, Juniors, Belles and Debs (8:30-9:45pm).
