This page breaks down medical abbreviations for the EMS provider. We hope we have included what would be a good variety of abbreviations. Please feel free to save, print, or use these abbreviations in anyway that would be helpful to you.
Abbreviations are used to shorten words
for ease of writing. Abbreviations may vary for each Ambulance
Service or Medical Institution. Most have an approved list of
Abbreviations that are acceptable for use. The following Table
will contain a list of the most common abbreviations for the EMS
Professional.
