Comments: Well, the origins of this piece needs a bit of explaining, I think. A few years ago I heard Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" for the first time in a very long time, and it moved me. For some reason it inspired a Lucius/Narcissa story in my head, but at the time I was far too behind in my multiple stories to add another one to the list. So I doodled the idea and let it be for a couple more years. Then last year I drew it, and my dear friend Lallie fell in love with it and told me which colours I could not use. It sat around for another year until I finally got to colouring it recently. I gave it to Lallie as her 21st B-Day pressy (Plus a David Bowie CD).

Now onto the picture itself. I used several photo references to draw this one, including a dress from the 1870s. I am unhappy with a few things in the drawing itself, but I think the colouring makes up for it, even if I had to fight it every step of the way. It turned out a lot different from what I expected, but I still like it, though I do have issues with the background. I need to draw better backgrounds...
