Artist: Tiny Q Year: May 2006 Media: Ink and Pencil Crayons Comments: This is yet another commission, this time for fallenwitch (so no taking/using/stealing this image without her permission). It's from chapter 8 of her wonderful story Along Came a Wizard, which was a real treat for me because I, being the lurker that I am, had been silently following the story for a while before she contacted me. I went through several love/hate phases with it, but I was ultimately looking forward to colouring it. I had been planning to make it very dark, like they were in front of a fire place, and for once I think my plan actually became reality! Yay! So much better than my last attempt at figures in firelight. But yes, overall I am very happy with the piece. |
