Good
Magic
by Marina Medici
This is a wonderful book!
It has all the basic advice that any beginner might need and also has information
for the more advanced. We find it one of the most helpful informative
books that we own. It has information on spells, casting a circle,
herbs, stones, special places, creating your space and much more.
Everyone who is interested in learning magick should have this book as
it is not geared towards any certain path but more towards the "how".
I also find it to be a wonderful gift and have given it to many of my friends.

A
WITCHES' BIBLE
by Janet Farrar, Stewart Farrar
The Sabbats; Casting &
Banishing the Magic Circle; The Complete Book of Shadows; The Great Rite;
Initiation Rites; Consecration Rites; Spells; Witches' Tools; Witchcraft
& Sex; Running a Coven; Clairvoyance; Astral Projection. This collection
includes two books in one volume, Eight Sabbats for Witches and The Witches'
Way and is the most comprehensive and revealing work on the principles,
rituals and beliefs of modern witchcraft. The Farrar’s bring a very
clear vision of their beliefs rites, and rituals that easily understood.
BUCKLAND’S
COMPLETE BOOK of WITCHCRAFT
by Raymond Buckland
Raymond Buckland does a good
job squeezing a lot of information into one book. Mr. Buckland writes
from his own experience and vision of the craft and does somewhat overemphasize
his own tradition. It is one version of the Craft and for some it
is a good starting point. Do keep in mind that Wicca is a very personal
experience and there is never just one way of doing things.

A Journal of the Old Religion
by Rhiannon Ryall
This book is easy to read
and full of homespun information. However the information does need to
be sifted through, Rhiannon has blended her family training in this book
with many of the modern concepts of daily wicca, or what is called The
Simple Craft. It is easy to read informative and gives a personal
view that is frequently missing in many books on Wicca. You are given a
view into a form of the Craft that is older than many of those practiced
today. You will note this by the elimination of some of the traditional
Sabbats.

HOLY BOOK of WOMEN’S MYSTERIES:

Feminist Witchcraft, Goddess
Rituals, Spellcasting, & Other Womanly Arts/Complete in 1 Volume
by Zsuzanna Budapest
This is a classic text for
all those interested in goddess religion. It is written by one of the founders
of the Goddess Religion Movement. It should be read as a foundation stone
and as an example of an "early" work. I recommend this to men and
women alike, to all that wonder where we are going and the ways in which
we can bring about inner peace and transformation into our lives.
