Picture Perfect!

The only hitch that happened during the wedding was when Edward had a hard time getting that ring on Sophie's finger. Poor Eddy! I think everyone was holding their breath during that moment!

Below you will find some pictures from the wedding, all of them courtesy of the Electronic Telegraph. If I can ever get my scanner working again, and if I can find some more online, I'll add to the album. After all, you can't have too many wedding pictures!

Pre-wedding Edward with his two supporters, big brothers Prince Charles (who obviously did not get the memo about what to wear) and Prince Andrew. No jitters there, as far as I can see, just big smiles all around! Looking good, boys!

No hats were allowed, but both the Queen Mother (still beautiful at 99 years old) and the Queen bent the rules a little by wearing feathers. Some watchers criticized the feathers, but I think they were a nice touch! And, you'll notice, the Queen was absolutely thrilled to be seeing her baby get married! =)

Three important guests at the wedding were the groom's nephews and niece, Prince William, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice. Also in attendance were Princess Eugenie (younger sister of Princess Beatrice) and the groom's oldest nephew and niece, Peter and Zara Phillips.

The newly married Earl and Countess of Wessex just after the signing of the registry. The entire church sang "God Save the Queen" and Her Majesty's son and daughter-in-law paid tribute to her by bowing/curtseying.

A lovely picture of the bride and groom on the steps of the Chapel after the wedding, flanked by their adorable pages (Felix Sowerbutts and Harry Warburton) and bridesmaids (Camilla Hadden and Olivia Taylor)

Two shots of Edward and Sophie in their landau after the wedding. They were cheered by a huge crowd in the streets as they drove from the Chapel to Windsor Castle. It may not have been the most spectacular Royal wedding in the universe, but the Wessexes are popular and the crowds proved it!
