Like Hanamichi, Kiyota is a self-proclaimed "tensai." Actually...he doesn't call himself tensai...he calls himself the "best new player." He is very talented, and the only 1st lvl student on the starting line-up of Kainan. Kiyota is also very funny and very cute, much like Hanamichi himself. He is the only one who can compete with Hanamichi for the number of times he goes into SD mode. Overall...he's just...soo...cute!!! Hanamichi calls him "wild monkey", and he calls Hanamichi "red-furred monkey". Basically, these two are just about the funniest pair in the entire series.
