Running Elk Lodge -- Bed &
Breakfast
About your stay...
Through our own traveling experience we realize
you may want to reacquaint yourself with nature without becoming
one with it. To that end we strive for comfort and service.
The Lodge features a hearty breakfast served in the sunny
"breakfast room", a glassed in porch overlooking the
meadow. Fresh baked muffins, fruit breads or rolls are served
with homemade jams and juice, coffee, or tea. The entree of the
morning might be an omelet, quiche, or a fritata, all fresh and
delicious.
After a hard day of relaxing and fun, guests can expect to be
indulged with a glass of wine, lemonade, or a steaming hot drink,
while waiting for dinner.
A simple but hearty evening meal will be served. Hunker down by
the dining room fireplace and enjoy home-made soup, stew, or
chili, cooked in a pot over the fire. Fresh bread, salad and
dessert should hold you until morning.
House Rules
Intimate breakfasts in your room are quite acceptable.
For lunch, guests are on their own. We will make "bag lunches" upon request.
Guests may feel free to store a few items in our refrigerator and cook their fresh trout on the barbeque.
If you have a special request or dietary preference...tell us.
