Over the summer of 2001 I went with EIL on a trip to Japan.  My group spent about a week in Tokyo and three weeks in Tokushima.


You'll find that if you walk more than a block anywhere in Tokyo you'll find some kind of shrine.
This is in the Monzen Nakacho district.  It's very close to our hotel (Hotel B&G).
This area of the city is barely tainted by foreign influence (much unlike everywhere else in Tokyo).
