David joined Gateway in January 1998 and is responsible for directing Gateway's human resources, community relations, government relations, law, compliance and administration functions. He was formerly Human Resources Vice President at AT&T's Business Markets Division. Prior to AT&T, David worked for Maytag, Pepsi-Cola and A.C. Nielsen, where he was named Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for their international business in 1993. A native of Colorado, David graduated from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. He received a master's degree in industrial relations from Iowa State University.
