Which day should we worship on?

At a Bible study we attended, using only the Bible, we found that the 'holy day' of the week  [the Sabbath day] or the day most people go to church on is not from the Bible! We are sharing with you what we have found.  Thanks for spending a few moments to read this page.

God Bless as you study the Bible and find out more!

>> God rested on the seventh day - God's rest day or Sabbath.
>> God blessed and sanctified (made holy) the Sabbath.
>> God commanded, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy." Exodus 20:8
>> The Sabbath was made before sin, hence it is not a type.
>> The Sabbath was made for man and all mankind. Mark 2:27
>> It was made 2,500 years before there was a Jew.
>> The Bible never calls it a "Jewish Sabbath."
>> God placed it in the centre of His ten moral commandments.
>> The Sabbath was commanded by the voice of the living God.
>> God wrote the Commandments with His own finger on stone.
>> God pronounced a special blessing on Gentiles who keep the Sabbath. Isaiah 56:3,5,6
>> God promises to bless any man who will keep the Sabbath.
>> After the Sabbath has been trodden down "many generations," it is to be restored in the last days. Isaiah 58:12,13
>> The Sabbath is the "Lord's Day." Mark 2:28; Isaiah 48:13; Exodus 20:8-11.
>> Gentile converts called it "the Sabbath: 14 years after the cross. Acts 13:42
>> Three decades after the cross, the Bible says the Sabbath remains. Hebrews 4:9
>> Christians to enter Sabbath rest as God did. Hebrews 4:10
>> Everyone in the New Earth will keep the Sabbath. Isaiah 66:22,23
>> God worked on Sunday. Genesis 1:1-5
>> God commanded work on Sunday. Exodus 20:8-11
>> God calls it a working day. Ezekiel 46:1
>> He never blessed Sunday.
>> Christ did not rest upon it.
>> Sunday was never sanctified.
>> The New Testament never forbids work on it.
>> There was no penalty for its desecration.
>> No blessing promised for its observance.
>> No regulation given as to how it should be observed.
>> It is never called the "Christian Sabbath."
>> It is never called the "Lord's Day."
>> No sacred title is applied to it.
>> The word 'Sunday' never occurs in the Word of God.
>> Neither God, Christ, or any inspired man ever said one word in favour of Sunday as a holy day.
>> There was no requirement to break bread on Sunday.
>> The Bible nowhere says the first day of the week commemorates the resurrection of Christ.
>> This is the tradition of men which makes void the commandments of God.
