The Story of My Life   What a joy it is    to feel the soft, springy earth under my feet once more,    to follow grassy roads that lead to ferny brooks where I can bathe my fingers in a cataract of rippling    notes,    or to clamber over a stone wall into green fields that    tumble and roll and climb in riotus gladness!   *******************************************************************   NEW AUTHOR TO COMPLETE APRIL 6 1997   ===================================   BY Rebecca O.H.W.    We spent most of the after hours of the night preparing for *   Church. My friend writing and I was cutting some Flyers.    Today I feel with better disposition than the whole week. I am *   more in peace today.    We arrive at the meeting place (East Park). There were just a few *   people, we thought it had to do with the Daylight Savings change of *   the clocks. Maybe everybody forgot to change their clocks, or they *   couldn't even afford a clock. S   {shcapr6.upd} pg. 2    The Circle started very informal. Reverend Friendly showed up. *   Little by little more people came. Our regular and un-ordained *   Reverened (Joshua) started the Circle by asking if we would have a *   formal or informal agenda. People requested for our Sacred Pipe to *   go around for the sharing of everyone. Few Brothers introduced *   themselves or speak very briefly. Our Sister and Brother from the *   Shelter showed concern again to have the original notes (Minutes) *   from a few weeks ago; and thanking everyone for being there.    The Sacred Pipe arrived to "Mau-Shein's" hands and he started *   sharing some very interesting sign language. He spoke about respect *   and the Indian way of being a friend.     ************************   Mau-Shein's Narrative: to be inserted   ************************    "Mau-Shein always speaks in a very credible way; clear and simple *   way. My heart is always touched by what he says.    More Brothers and Sisters announce an event in the mountains, and *   more about themselves. Then the Sacred Pipe came to Reverend *   Friendly. First people asked where he had been. (I missed the *   answer to that question) Then he started sharing a wonderful thing *   about God. He mentioned about that beautiful being inside our *   hearts. That God in our hearts; that if we are quiet and listen; *   he speaks, and you can hear him, and you can feel his Love in the *   Love of our hearts. He also said that by respecting others, and *   honoring others; you honor and respect that God.   ***********************   Reverend Friendly's Narrative :   to be inserted   ***********************    The Sacred Pipe kept going and reached the other Reverend with *   the little boy. He spoke first about the struggle of some Native *   Americans that had struggled trying to get recognition for their *   church or spiritual practices. Later he spoke and asked the Rainbow *   people, that if they are gathering in the mountains, to "please pick *   up the trash after yourself; or after those who don't pick up!" *   "Because the mountains are our backyard, especially my backyard; *   because I live there."    ^^^^^    At one point in the Circle I realized that the Circle today felt *   like it is that period of time when everyone has come back after the *   Winter; and that at one point even though I wasn't coming to the *   Church then, I was informed in a very personal way of all of these *   happenings at the Herb Church. It seems that if not one would have *   been taking charge of holding it, it would have almost disappeared.    Now I see the role and the work that our young friend has had in *   all of this. He kept, he held the Pillars of the Structure from *   collapsing. He saw the need of keeping the fire going before it *   would be extinguished. He saw the need of the Brothers and Sisters *   to maintain the place where we can share the spirit and keep it *   until this day. This was his service.    Today, I saw the spirit rejoicing for this. S {shcapr6.upd} pg. 3    As the Sacred Pipe came this way, and I held it in my hands, I *   wanted to thank "Mau-Shein" of his words of knowledge and wisdom *   that inspire me always. Because earlier as I was repeating his *   words with the purpose of not losing them, as I was holding the *   Sage, I was experiencing the spiritual energy so strong. At one *   point, the pool of the Shakti (energy) was completed, and then I *   passed the Sage on, as I close my eyes to feel even more personal *   the presence of that higher spirit.    I also was thankful of Reverend Friendly's words that touch my *   heart; and thank everyone that has contributed something to the *   Church; and thank everyone that has come, for coming and for their *   presence. That presence is part of that whole spirit that also *   shines through everyone.      *********************   personal narrative:   to be inserted   *********************    At some point I realize also, the fact that the last couple *   of sundays at least two of the Reverends have come to the group *   and everyone had include an important piece to the group and the *   Service has made the Church a lot more full in energy and *   spirit. I also see this as a teamwork including myself working *   together for the same purpose, teaming up with my friend to put *   something together for the group.    Today also I saw the spirit and the Church growing more; holding *   together stronger.    Last week I was having difficulty, having my mind clear. A lot of *   static energy and headache. I couldn't write; but as I saw last *   week, how here and there, our Brothers and Sisters were sharing very *   important principles and values.    I could see that among all their ways of life they show some *   light in their thought and how they strive for making a better and *   more loving world where people can respect each other more and be *   honest and loving; like one of our Sisters stated, and encouraged *   people to do.    Our other young Brother talked about not buying into negativity *   or into fighting, and one must not focus in that. In all these *   statements, I could see little seeds sprouting, piercing through *   people's Earthly ground of their lives.    I saw the morning in their eyes.    This time I could see how this energy; this Spirited little seeds *   in everyone seem to start growing as a whole in the Circle; and is *   becoming and growing in this particular direction. ............... *(report incomplete)*
