This web site of SADASHIVAN is an eye opener and a request to ILO/ WTO/ UNO/ AND OTHER HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANISATION TO COME FORWARD SAVE THEIR FUTURE OF OLD AGE !!!!!!!!

A letter concerning unorganized sector pension was sent to the Prime Ministers office of India, which replied, vide letter NO: 14853 DT. 19/10/1989 being forwarded to the Labor Ministry. Then Labor ministry letter DT. 10/4/1990 replied being forwarded to Employees State Insurance Corporation A disappointing ESIC reply under letter NO: X-11/15/8/90-P&D/363 dt.10/5/1990 replying ESI is a contributory scheme for the workers of the factories establishments coming within the purview of ESI Act, 1948. Similarly, International Labor Organization letter NO: 110/1-9960 DT 29/11/1988 and UNO letter DT. G/SO/215/1 DT. 13/7/1990 responded negatively. There are thousands of organizations, who can realy come ahead with this mission to approach appropriate countries making them understand the necessity and influence them to provide social security to workers who are in UNORGANISED SECTORS

70%OF TOTAL WORK FORCE IN POOR AND DEVELOPING ASIAN COUNTRIES ARE FROM UNORGANISED SECTOR AND STILL ARE WITHOUT SOCIAL SECURITY

THIS WOMAN OF 69 YEARS OF AGE MAKING BOBENS FOR FOR WEAVERS IN THIS WORKING CONDITION.SHE WORKS FOR 14-16 HOURS PER DAY AT PIECE RATE WAGES.THIS OLD WOMAN NEVER WANTED TO WORK SO HARD BUT SHE HAS NO OTHER CHOICE FOR SURVIVAL. MOST PITY IS WHAT WILL SHE DO WHEN SHE IS ILL WITHOUT THE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFIT?????????

OVER 70-80% OF WORKING POPULATION ENGAGED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY IN INFORMAL UNORGANISED SECTORS IN ASIAN COUNTRIES, SOCIAL SECURITY TO THEM HAS ESCAPED ATTENTION OF MOST OF ALL THE ASIAN AND AFRICAN COUNTRIES.

This video clip is dedicated to those who work in unorganized sectors in developing countries. Through this traditional Indian classical music and song I wish to bring attention of old aged people who lack social security to secure their old age... and the respective countries... to address this issue in priority. Most developing countries lack social security schemes to their citizen employed in unorganized sectors. Without social security and lack of family or children care most old aged people come to street for begging through all means.
