"Now we see a poor reflection, as if we were looking into a mirror, but then we shall see clearly. Now I know only a part, but then I will know fully, as God has known me." ~ I Corinthians 13:12

Have you ever looked into the face of pure love? Perhaps the love for a child as seen in the face of a mother. Maybe the loving looks of devotion between a man and a woman. Or what about a child's love for a pet. These are all wonderful sights to behold. Though no matter how marvelous these are, they are but a "poor reflection" of the love that we shall behold when we see our Savior face to face.

This is pure love. Love that looked down from the Cross and said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." ~ Luke 23:34 This is the one whose amazing love led "Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we may become the righteousness of God." ~ II Corinthians 5:21

Those of us who know and love the Lord Jesus look forward to that time when we will be able to look at Him face to face, to see and know Jesus Christ who loves us so. The full wonder and immensity of God's love is beyond our imagination. For it is far greater than any love we will ever know here on earth. The big question at the moment is:
Are you ready to meet Him face to face??
