Before the concert we stopped by the Best Western where Laurie had
a hospitality room for the Bobby Babes. We arrived just as everybody was leaving. They
were going to regroup at Applebees for dinner before the show. So we joined them. We had
a wonderful waiter named Alex. He made some excellent recomendations
and we had a wonderful dinner with some really wonderful Bobby Babes, many of whom we had
met before. After dinner we drove to the Theater, just about 2 miles away. The doors
weren't open yet, but we only had a short wait. We got to meet some more fans in the
Lobby. After the doors opened we easily found our seats. It is a lovely Theater.
Bobby entered the Ruth Eckerd Hall from one of the side doors and came right
down our aisle. I stepped out into the aisle and when he got up to me, I reached out and
gave him a hug and a kiss. My sister Diane was standing next to me and as soon as Bobby saw her
and I together he recognized us and said "Hi, how are you?" I said fine and kissed him again. Then Diane
gave him a kiss too. It was another great show. I gave him 3 pink roses on stage. Diane also gave him pink roses. I got a
point early in the show and it felt like an early Christmas morning. I could still smell his Polo colonge
from the two kisses earlier. We didn't know it when we got the seats, but it just so happened that Rosanne Galleta was sitting
next to us. She is the very kind woman who took my picture when I first met Bobby in Manassas, Virginia.
It was really just coincidence that I got to sit next to her. She was on my right and Diane was on my left.
Towards the end of the show, Bobby looked right at me, kissed his fingertip, pointed right at me and winked!
There was nobody sitting in front of me at the time and both Rosanne and Diane turned to me from both
directions and grabbed my arm, knowing that special point was just for me! I was totally shocked and thrilled
beyond belief. This has been such a fantastic year. Nothing could ever compare to this. It just seems to get better and better.
My dreams have come true. I have made so many new friends, and I have learned so much too, especially about the
internet. After the show, Laurie K. had arranged for a Get Together at Applebees. I got to meet a lot more of the Bobby Babes
that I had only been able to talk to by e-mail. Plus, I got to reunite with a lot of the friends I had met at other shows.
We asked for Alex, the same waiter that had been so helpful to us earlier in the evening. He was excellent and got
everybody's order right without writing it down. I took his picture and told him I'd put it on the website, he sais he was
on-line and would check it out. I think he got a kick out of waiting on the Bobby Sherman Fan Club! He looked at all our
memorbilia and was very, very nice. We stayed in a Condo on Indian Rocks Beach, "Kandi's Condo on the Beach." It was absolutely lovely. It was fully appointed,
all you needed to bring was your clothes. Kandi and Lou provided everything you could possibly need. It was stocked with
everything from a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, pots, pans, dishes, cork screw, candels, crockpot, vegetable steamer,
vases, jewelry boxes, curling irons, blow dryers, bubble bath, all the linens and towels you'd ever need, washer, dryer,
juicer, even a placemat for the dog bowl with Madison's name on it. All the towels were folded just right and tied with
satin ribbons. It is a showplace. The beach is quiet and clean. The pool was crystal clear and heated. The hot tub was
big and hot. We really enjoyed that hot tub after a day's sightseeing. It was in that hot tub that we decided to go to the Disney World concert. We weren't going to go because it will be
a lot of walking and standing. My back can't take much standing. But we decided that if we could take it slow, not beat
ourselves up and take a lot of rests, we could do it. So we got right out of the tub and went up to the phone and called
a travel agent. By the next day, it was set, we had airfare, hotel, and tickets to MGM. I just can't resist a chance to
see Bobby again.
