Edward Arnold stars as Ben Harvey, a successful Mortgage Broker. He and his wife of 22 years, Stella (Glenda Farrell), set out on a four month vacation. His spoiled daughter, Marilyn (Elizabeth
Montgomery) and her husband Gerald Parker (Richard Shepard) are headed for divorce and their
trip is almost postponed. Murial (Louise Platt), Stella's sister and her husband Everett (Victor
Jory) - Ben's employee - have another dilemma. Their situation not only threatens the Harvey's
trip, but Ben's career and reputation.
