Hello and welcome to my page. I am a Lieutenant with the
McCormick County Sheriff's Department, in McCormick, South Carolina.
We are a small department for a rather large county, 360 square miles
but with only approx. 9000 residents. One of the big attractions
to this area is Clarks Hill Lake (Strom Thurmand) for the great
fishing,swimming and other water recreation. McCormick County is also
very well known for it's deer and turkey hunting.
I have been with the Sheriff's Department for nine years. I started
as a patrol officer and then moved into narcotics. I was assigned to a
Tri-County Narcotics Task Force, it was an experience that I will never
forget, along with all the friends that I made during that time. After
leaving the team, I returned to the Patrol Division as a Sergeant. I hope
I do not jinks myself by saying this but I have enjoyed this assignment
more than any before. I have the greatest bunch of guys working for me
and with me that any supervisor could ask for. Being a small department
means that you are more like a family and that is exactly what we are !!!

hope that you are finding all the LIGHT that you are seeking, it is a long
and hard journey at times but well worth the travel when you find some, I am
