Saturnchild's NA Dub Explanation

This page is under construction, and anyone who wants to go through a look for mistakes is greatly thanked.
This is for those who watched/are watching the North American DiC dubbed version of Sailor Moon.
To begin with, Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, translated Pretty Soldier Sailormoon, was a cartoon created, drawn, and written by Naoko Takeuchi. It was first run in the early 1990's. It was a shoujo, meaning it was aimed at pre-adolescent girls, comic. It gained popularity in Japan, its native country, and was later given its own manga comic book. It was so sucessful because, unlike most shoujo comics, there was more plot then two people falling in love. Then, Toei Animation started an animated television program, called anime, version of it, Sailormoon. It is/was kinda different from the manga in character, plot lines & their focuses, and on touchy subjects like death. There were five seasons in Japan: Sailormoon, SailormoonR (which actually had two parts, because the anime had to add another plot line to let the manga catch up in story), SailormoonS, Sailormoon SuperS, and Sailormoon Stars. While the manga did not have exact season markers like the anime, there are plot changes that correlate and I will refer to them. The first and second season have been translated and dubbed for North America.

Sailormoon, Sailorchibi-moon, and Sailorchibichibi are not included in this table because, in the old Moon Kingdom and in Neo-Tokyo, where the kingdom was in tact, they were not soldiers, they were princesses/queens. Basically, the senshi in the chart above have connections to their fellow group members, and fight together a lot, while Sailormoon, Sailorchibi-moon, and Sailorchibi-chibi don't (On my Senshi Tour, I called them the 'Royal Senshi,' but that was my personal grouping, not an official one).
