My name is Amy-no kidding-I'm 17 and a rising senior in high school. I
live in Tennessee, the country music capital of the world-hmmm, too bad I
can't stand country music...Anyway, I just returned from the Governor's School for
International Studies-a 4-week program of study concentrating primarily
on various languages(I learned Japanese-well, maybe "learned" is not the
best word...), global perspectives/issues, and international issues
analysis. I got to meet a lot of great people--it was probably one
of the best experiences of my life. Anyway, the courses I will be taking
this year include: AP Calculus, AP English, Physics, American History,
and Beginning Art(yes, Beginning Art).
