IMPACT Training

All IMPACT Volunteers MUST attend the following
classes before being eligible to be on-call with the
IMPACT Disaster Response Unit


~ REQUIRED CLASSES ~

IMPACT Orientation, Disaster Preparedness/Disaster Response, Use of the Radio at the Disaster Scene, Basic Crowd and Traffic Control, Working with the News Media at a Disaster Scene
(These classes are offered in a one day workshop)


~ OPTIONAL CLASSES ~

First Aid/CPR, Basic Search & Rescue, IMPACT Control Operations, Mobile Command Post/Mobile EOC Operations, Amateur Radio Licensing Classes, Adavanced First Aid/EMT First Responder
(Some optional classes are offered through outside sources: ie. Red Cross, etc. and may have a fee)
