Dear Brother Carson,

I imagine you have received various kinds of mail regarding the recent developments surrounding the "trademarked church name" SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST.

Having read some of the letters drafted from our members to you, I have been compelled to appeal to your better reason myself. What is it you expect to accomplish by prosecuting Christians over your "trade name?" Do you really think this method will "protect the good name of the church?" Did it work against the homosexual support group? Then how do you expect it to make a difference among those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus? Do you not realize that some who you prosecute will rather die than give up the heritage of their faith? Do you not realize that some who you prosecute are fine, well-ordered, and law-abiding Christians? Do you not realize what you are setting about to do? Dear Brother, if you roll a stone up a mountain, it is sure to roll back and crush you under its weight. The conscience of man is dear to our Heavenly Father. Surely, all who oppress the consciences of the least of these little ones will receive the seven last plagues. Do you not consider these consequences?

In this, my initial plea to you, I shall spare you the Biblical exposition that I have prepared for others upon their request. But, you must seriously consider the warning of the third angel while taking part, or shall we say, leading out in this inquisition. I invite you to read my open letter to you and the remainder of the SDA family. It is found on the web by going to URL: www.netcom.com/~crmin/csdachurch/caution.html. Should you take time to follow the links, you will become intelligently informed as to present truth concerning the "trademarked church name."

I am deeply interested in your soul's salvation. I fear that should you not take heed to the voice crying in the wilderness, your day of grace will pass you by. While in prayer for you, I remain

Your Devoted Servant,
