Hailing from the United States is this impressive debut from New York's Abazagorath. Recorded in a 48 track studio, "Tenebrarum Cadent Exsurgemus" boosts an excellent sound as well as good packaging which would definitely appeal to fans of underground metal music. Abazagorath is a five piece, looking very much like Dark Funeral with the war paint on, but unfortunately sounding different (it may not be a bad thing though...). Abazagorath carries themselves very well with this debut, lasting for some 50 minutes on this album & showcasing the American
standard of Black Metal to the rest of the world. It seems that more & more bands are now emerging from the land of the free, and by doing so, I do most certainly hope that they can break the stereotypical image cast upon them by the rest of the world that American bands can't play good BM. Anyway , some other good American extreme metal bands to look out for in my opinion are : Averse Sefira, Crimson Moon, Insatanity, Messe Noir, Summon, Usurper & the bloody list goes on.....
