OCTINOMOS - S/T

Hailing from Sweden , this is the solo project of F. Söderlund who incidently also plays in Parnassus & Puissance . This album also features guest appearances by members of Algaion . Anyway , this album plays for some 50 minutes I think ... and contains 9 tracks . The best in my opinion being 'The Ground Shall Sorrow Be' which is also provided as a sample track . Octinomos starts off pretty decently with a little bit of the Greek sound , but somewhere after the third track , this album starts to go downhill and becomes a chore to listen to . Perhaps because this album was released about 4 year back , this was the standard back then ... but who cares anyway ... I have heard that Octinomos was supposed to release a second album ? is this valid ?

Anyway , if you do happen to have some spare cash & wondering what to do with it ... go check this out but be warned ... this band certainly has Nazi tendencies ...
