The Seminole originally came from many
different tribes in the Southeast that were uprooted
by white settlers. They came to Florida from Tennessee,
Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia & North & South Carolina,
with varied languages, traditions, & cultures, but they settled
together, to stand as one, as the Seminole.
This webpage is designed to give an overview of the Seminole
culture of the past and present and at a level everyone can understand. I do not care how
long you stay here or how many times you visit. I have no counter on this page for one
reason. It does not matter how many people visit this site. What would make this website a
success is if just one person would leave here thinking of the Seminole as just not a
football team, but a proud people.
I would greatly appreciate any comments or suggestions
about this site. I am also looking for more information. If you have any that might add
another catagory to the site please e-mail it to me.
I am also looking for any pictures. I would appreciate any help.
If any one out there is a graphic artist, I am looking for someone to donate a new main logo for the site. Let me know if you can help.
