Nonschetto Kay Crossover2 11\20\98 Pt.3 *1* Hatshepsut waited in front of the embassy for her father. She rarely saw him and he'd promised to come. A few moments later a car stopped in front of her. Harry, her father's driver told her, "Your father can't come. Urgent business." She didn't even say goodbye. She walked back towards the embassy quarters where she lived. A small golden cat walked beside her. She wasn't surprised her father hadn't shown, just disappointed. The cat sighed. "He tries to make it up to you." "Shut up, Bast!" Shepsu snapped. "Money doesn't help. I've enough already." "I know." the little cat persisted. "But getting depressed isn't going to help you. It might hurt the Golden galaxial Crystal." Shepsu shrugged. "I don't see why I was given it in the first place." "You are the one who will know when the war begins and call for help. You will be the Oracle." Bast said. "I just want a normal family with parents!" Shepsut ran to her room. Another cat walked over to Bast. "She really needs a father. Maybe we should arrange for her to go with America to be with her Uncle. You could go with her. The others can protect her just as well here as elsewhere." "Maybe your right, Ra. I'll give her father an IDEA." Bast wandered off. * * When Dick returned home, both Bruce Wayne and his butler (what the heck is his name?) were in Bruce's office. Bruce smiled at him, which was a rare thing. "Alfred's niece is going to be staying with us for awhile. She grew up in the american embassy in egypt." Dick was too tired to do more than nod. He wasn't sure what to tell Bruce. He lay on his bed and fell asleep. * * The next day Dick opened the door to see a pretty teenager with two cats on the crook of her arm. Both were golden. She had tanned golden skin and blonde hair. Her eyes were light brown. He stood gaping and she smiled. "I am Shepsu, Alfred's niece." His jaw dropped. He'd thought they were talking about a young child. He ushered her in. A man carried in her bags. She apparently didn't own much. Alfred ran down the stairs. "Hatshepsut! So good to see you! You looked so much older!" Bruce smiled from a few feet away. He could feel the loneliness the girl seemed to project lessen. She seemed to be around fourteen. The two cats that accompanied her waited patiently. Alfred looked down on them. "I remember those two as kittens. It seems they've grown up too. Let me show you to your room. I bought you a few things. I hope you like....." Bruce walked over to Dick. "She IS pretty. But younger than she looks. Go easy." Dick looked hurt. "I already have a girl i like, in japan," he said. Bruce was surprised. "When did you go to Japan?" "Have I a story to tell you!" Dick began. *2* Ashe felt like crying again. Ever since Pikachu vanished he'd felt very lonely. Misty had assured him they'd find Pikachu, but so far they'd had no success. He was passing a Shinto temple when he heard a loud, "Pika, Pika, PikaCHU!" He raced to the temple where Pikachu jumped into his arms. Two girls sat on the floor. Both were older than him. The brown haired one stood. "I've been expecting you. He told me you would come. We didn't know where you were." "What do you want with Pikachu?!" he demanded. First Team Rocket was after his friend, now this. The girl/woman smiled. "Pikachu is reborn from a creature many thousands of years ago. There is a war coming and we will need his help." Ashe considered. "So what do you want?" "We can train you and Pikachu as lightning elementals. And you can still collect badges to become part of the Pokemon League. The attacks we teach you will work well for such things." Naru said. He turned to Pikachu. "What do you think?" Pikachu jumped into the other brown haired girl's lap. "Pika!" "I see you want to stay with her." Ashe said. He wondered where he could stay. The second brown haired girl spoke. "I am Makoto. I live alone. You could both stay with me." Naru grinned. "It's settled then." *3* Storm returned the Xavier's mansion around midnight. She found Madison was the only one awake. She was fiddling with the TV. Storm wanted to talk to someone and she trusted Madison so she sat on the couch and started to talk. Madison laughed as she came to the end of the story. "Amazing, I wouldn't mind meeting people like that. An air elemental, cool name. Better than "Sailor" whatever." Ororo agreed. "Naru speaks of a large war to come. I think it may involve everyone on the planet and perhaps on other planets as well." Madison shrugged. "We'll see." She continued playing with the TV. "What are you doing?" Ororo asked. "Free cable." Madison said. "We pay enough taxes as it is." * * The next day, Duncan found Madison at her laptop in the kitchen. "Did you sleep well? Yesterday was a long day." "What is this word "sleep"?" she quipped. "Yes, I did." The phone rang and he picked it up. After a few moments he hung up. "I have to go to California to do some business. I don't want to leave you untaught. Want to come?" "Sure." she said. "I have friends I want to see there anyway." *4* Jonny returned to the apartment he shared with his sister, brother-in-law, and Ben. They were annoyed at him for not telling them where he was going. He then told the whole story. *5* Gi told her story to Gaia who confirmed it. The others were shocked and wanted to meet these new people. *6* A golden cat approached Naru. *7* Naru called a large group meeting to be held in a prearranged Refuge in Antarctica. *****
