Flaming Lips

  • 1 small box of Strawberry-Kiwi or Strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/3 Cup water
  • 1/4 Cup Vodka
  • 1/4 Cup Cinnamon Schnapps
  • 2 Tablespoons Midori Melon Liqueur
  1. STIR boiling water into Strawberry-Kiwi gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Vodka, Cinnamon Schnapps, Midori and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

Brainville

  • 1 small box of Berry Blue Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1/4 Cup Gin
  • 3 Tablespoons Peppermint Schnapps
  • 1 Tablespoon Triple Sec
  1. STIR boiling water into Berry Blue gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Gin, Schnapps, and Triple Sec and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

Everytime I drive by the Oklahoma City Zoo, I think of this particular Flaming Lips song.

Christmas At The Zoo

  • 1 small box of Cranberry Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/3 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/3 Cup Rum
  • 3 Tablespoons Whiskey
  • 2 Tablespoons Brandy
  1. STIR boiling water into cranberry gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the orange juice, Rum, Whiskey, Brandy and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

I'm going through an obsession with clear jell-o shooters. I dunno know why. Maybe I think it's cool to be able to see through a gravity defying drink shimmering and wiggling between my fingers. Or maybe I'm just plain weird like Flaming Lips fans are suppose to be. Whatever.

Drug Machine In Heaven

  • 1 packet of Knox Gelatine
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup Zima
  • 1/3 Cup Vodka
  • 3 tablespoons Midori Melon Liqueur
  1. STIR boiling water into Knox gelatine and sugar until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD Zima, Vodka and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. DROP using an eyedropper the 3 tablespoons of Midori, putting several drops into each cup. If you let the gelatine partially set, it might create a swirled effect.
  5. REFRIGERATE until firm.

In A Priest Driven Ambulance

  • 1 small Packet of Knox gelatine
  • 1 Cup hot coffee
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1/3 Cup Frangelico
  • 2 Tablespoons Triple Sec
  1. STIR hot coffee into sugar and gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Frangelico, and Triple Sec and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

Unconsciously Screamin'

  • 1 large box of Grape Jell-O
  • 1 small box of Lemon Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 cold water
  • 1/4 Cup Tequila
  • 1/4 Cup Triple Sec
  • 1 Cup Milk
  1. STIR boiling water into grape gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Tequila, Triple Sec and stir until mixed. Cool at room temperature about 20-30 mins.
  3. POUR milk into a separate container. Add the box of pudding and mix until completely blended.
  4. QUICKLY STIR the pudding into the jell-o until well blended. It should appear quite opaque.
  5. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  6. REFRIGERATE until firm
