HERE COMES THE BRIDE!
AND GROOMS!

ERNIE AND HIS MRS.JULIE
5/19/91

These two sweethearts met while working at Sea World, Orlando, Fl. They were married there at the Water-Ski Stadium! It was a magical moment as they stood there with the Orlando sky line and blue lazer beams behind them. The moment he kissed his bride, a lovely display of white and silver fire works eluminated the night sky! I preserved this magical moment in duplicating the loving couple on two 16" porcelain dolls, right down to the pink lillys in her bouquet and his lapel!

DEBORAH AND HER MR.
6/18/93

Debbie, or Deborah as she prefers to be called now, made such a lovely bride! She too met and married her betrothed in Orlando Fla. After a beautiful church ceremony, we attended a fantastic reception in the hotel where we were staying! This moment had to be preserved on two 16" porcelain dolls. I had given her a pearl necklace with matching earrings for this special day. One of the earrings from the set is on the doll's necklace!

DAVID AND HIS MRS.KIM
4/4/97

Dave and Kim met when they were 13 years old! And have been sweet on eachother ever since! They had a lovely Church wedding followed by a terrific reception at a local banquet hall. There was so much love in the air that night! Everyone had a lovely time. Naturally, this had to be captured on 12" and 16" porcelain dolls. I also made Kim her own 16" doll. {I made all the sets for me! I didn't loose three children, I gained 6 dolls!}

NEPHEW TOM AND HIS MRS.KELLY

Kelly had no idea that I made dolls, or that I was planning to surprise her by making one for her as a wedding gift. She must have thought I was a lousy photographer when she saw me taking pictures of her below the neck, but when I got up close for a 'boob and butt' shot she gasped: "AUNT GLORIA! What on earth are you doing?"{she had been warned by the family to expect the unexpected from this loony aunt!} I HAD to tell her I needed close ups of the gown in order to duplicate it for her on a 16" porelain doll. She was thrilled with the idea, and even more so when she saw it!

NIECE TERRY AND HER MR.PETE

Now Terry knew I made dolls, she's been recieving one every Christmas since 1993, and she knew I would be making her bride doll. She showed me the dress ahead of time. The doll was compleated WEEKS before the wedding and I thought it would make a nice display on the gift table. Well, when she went for her final fitting, to her sheer horror, the dressmaker made the hem 2" too short! They quickly offered to add a 2" antique lace trim to the hem...no charge! But he wedding was only days away, Terry was just heart sick! Her mom, {my sis} shook her head in dismay. Terry, expecting a comforting 'utssey putssey' from her mom was floored when she heard her mom say: "AUNT GLORIA IS GOING TO HAVE A FIT!" Since I wouldn't see the new boarder till the wedding, she had to wait for her doll after all!

MRS.CINDY AND HER MR.GENE

My niece Cindy made a beautiful bride! Her
wedding was just perfect thanks to her entire
family pitching in with their talents and
resorces making it a day full of love! Her
gown was beauty in simplisity, and preserved
on a 16" porcelain doll. The ribbon from her
favors with thier names and wedding date
printed on it is in the bouquet of tullips
and roses, she even has a guarder just like
the one she wore!

MORE BRIDES

MELISSA AND HER MR.BRAD

I've known Melissa and her family for 8 years. When her father 'Butch' suddenly passed away 4 years ago he left an irreplaceable void in all of our hearts. When the time came for the traditional 'Father/Daughter' dance, Melissa chose to dance with her mom! {sob sob}
Her gown was exqusit! I have never seen a gown with so much beading! Pearls,sequins and beaded appliques from top to bottom! Even the 'kazillion' mile long train was covered! Her terraria had circles and clusters of pearls in the front, and ribbon roses with sprays of pearls in the back! The waist legnth veil was trimed in white satin ribbon! This gown made Princess Di's look like a bargan bacement special!

I found a beautiful 25" Porcelain doll, This was the most challenging doll of all! Not to mention the most expensive! When it was compleated, I placed her in a doll case made to look like she was standing in a gazebo, and tied a white ribbon around it that doubled as a handle! It made the most beautiful gift!
