Look Who's In The 1999 Brute Equipment Catalog

Both of these pictures were taken in the fall of 1998.
Out of the blue, someone at a tournament told Scott that he had seen his picture in the Brute catalog. Scott figured it was a mistake because there had already been numerous times when he was told how much he looked like certain other wrestlers. But after others also told him that they had also seen the pictures, he decided he had to see for himself. So Scott called Brute and asked for a copy of their catalog and this is what he saw. Needless to say, he and I both thought this was pretty cool. Of course, he didn't receive any compensation for the pictures as that could jeopardize his NCAA status. So, in the end, just being in the catalog was payment enough.
