1. Who is this Mara Jade?
   Mara was the Emperor's Hand until his death.  He's the one who taught 
her to use her jedi powers.  From there she hooked up with the smuggler
Talon Karrde and went on a desperate mission: KILL LUKE SKYWALKER!!  
When Talon Karrde joined up with the New Republic, Luke and Mara slowly
became friends...or more? (Note:  Mara was able to overcome her desire to kill Luke 
by killing his clone, Luuke.)

2. Is Mara good or evil in the long run?
   Mara's not a bad person.  She's good.  Just needed to get her priorities straight.
Don't tell her that or she'll be offended.

3. If Mara's good then why did she turn to the dark side?
   Not really her fault.  The Emperor "adopted" her when she was very
young (rumors tell us she was two or three) and taught her to use her powers to aid the dark side.  When she 
got old enough to make the decision for herself, it was the only life she'd
ever known.

4. Are Mara and Luke secretly in love?
   It's hard to believe after all that time she spent trying to kill him.
But for those who don't know...this is a spoiler of Vision of the Future so stop reading
here if you haven't read that...got a select audience yet?...You get a few more words,
scram on outta here...Luke and Mara are now engaged!  They will be officially married in the new book Vector Prime.
