Kim stepped out into the warm spring air her friends by her side. It was about 1:30 they where gonna grab some lunch and then go and wait for the winner to be announced. It was hard for Kim to notice but everyone was already sure that she had one. She was just still lost from what had happened. She had never gotten a standing ovation before. And had never heard so many people screaming for HER before. It was weird. But she really like it. The girls stopped at Subway and went in and ordered some sandwhiches chips and pops. They then went to sit at one of the tables just outside the school where it was all being held. They were all eating when Lane came up. 'Kim, you did a really good job. May the best win!' and with that left. Kim had always liked to make fun of her and started to at the table the minute she left. 'Lane, HORRIBLE JOB! May the best win! hehehehe' She made fun of her. Her friends all started to laugh. None of them had gotten along with Lane for the longest time. She didn't know why. Or she did and didn't want to tell anyone anything about it. Emily looked at her watch and started getting her stuff gathered and headed towards the trash can. Kim looked at her watch and started gobbiling her food down. They had 10 minutes to be in side and get decent seats. That ment they had to hurry. No one was coming back yet so they may be lucky. The girls headed into the autotorium and heard loud screams. Kim looked around and saw them staring at the juding table. 'What's going on?' 'Oh, the winner gets to go on tour with some group.' 'Cool! Who is it?' 'Dunno!' 'Oh, okay' The girls went and say down. They were just waiting and waiting and waiting. The judge walked up on stage. 'omgomgomgomgomgomgomg' Kim muttered under her breath. Emily elbowed her. He stepped up to the microphone and started talking when he got to the point and said 'And the winner is.....' everyone got quiet!
