The WORD is BLIND!

When the Pharisees were offended at Jesus for accusing them of teaching for doctrines the commandments of men and not of GOD, His Apostles said, Don't you know you are offending the Pharisees? Jesus accused the Pharisees of making the power of the WORD of no effect by their traditions and rules, and the Apostles were only concerned with, Jesus, don't you know you are offending the Pharisees? Do you have to do that? Don't you care you are offending them?

But Jesus answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let the Pharisees alone; they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Then Peter said, Jesus teach us the parables that we will not fall into the ditch also. Teach us understanding that we be unblinded.

So Jesus said, Every WORD that is not planted by my heavenly Father shall be rooted up. Every truth that is not planted by my heavenly Father shall be destroyed. Every doctrine that is not planted by His mouth shall be cast out of His house and burned in the fire. Every law and rule and doctrine and saying that is not planted by my heavenly Father shall be cut down, rooted up, destroyed. Every single word that does not come out of my Father's mouth, shall be an offense in the Kingdom and shall be rooted out by the servants and angels of the LORD and shall be burned up in the fire. Every law, doctrine, tradition, rule, saying, or word that is not my heavenly Father's shall be exposed, brought into the light and revealed as false, and all works that are not of my works, all deeds that are not of my deeds, all truths that are not of my truths, shall be cut down, rooted out, and destroyed, burned.

Now, in Jesus' day, Jesus was to sow the truth in the earth, sow the WORD, sow the Spirit, sow His ministry, sow His works. But there will come a time when the Pharisees will be confronted, and will be uprooted and will be cut down, and Jesus said, let them alone. You come and follow me, and let the blind follow the blind. For I am here am I not, Jesus said? I am of the light and I am not blinded. If they choose not to follow Me, they have chosen to follow the blindnesses of the blind. Jesus said, Are you yet also without understanding that you are concerned with my offending the Pharisees? So till the ending of time, the blind will follow the blind, and those that do, Jesus says, Let them be!

Why do you suppose the Pharisees were blinded? Well for one thing, Jesus said, Because you say you see, your sins remain.

The greatest blinding there is, is a soul filled up with his own self, and his own laws and his own rules and his own will and his own everything, his own path of salvation even, all mapped out before him and behind him and under him. He walks in his own laws, his own rules, his own convenient path of behavior, and his own decisions of what is right and wrong! Everything is justified in his own sight as good.

Only the pure in heart are unblinded, for the scriptures say, The heart is wicked and deceitful, terribly, and who can know his own heart and its hidden chambers of deceits and lies? Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see GOD, Jesus said.

John says in his letters, If we hate our brother that hatred blinds us and we don't know where we are going, or walking, or the direction in which we travel. For if we are filled with hatred, we are also filled with many sins, and we are blinded even to the sins we continually commit in our hatreds, nor do we realize that we are perishing. Hatred does not know its ultimate destiny!

So we see that the Pharisees first hated Jesus. Why? Because their sins blinded them and then their hatred of Jesus sealed them in their blindnesses and in their sins. For if a man loves his sins or the world or his life or the flesh and all of its passions and greeds, he will hate Jesus Christ who commands that all of these things are forfeited for the eternal life offered in His death and resurrection. Jesus said, You cannot serve both GOD and mammon!

And one thing will blind us. Look upon Judas for instance, so righteous appearing that none of the Apostles even knew who it was that was going to betray Jesus. For all outward appearances Judas believed in Jesus. Judas delivered the devils, preached the WORD of GOD, healed the sick, followed, believed, doing all things whatsoever they were doing, yet Judas betrayed Jesus unto death. Judas was blinded. Judas was blind. Judas still followed after the scribes and Pharisees that allowed allowances for sin, for the law allowed sin, because it was a law of sin and sacrifice, sin and sacrifice, and Judas wanted to yet sin and sacrifice. Many who believe in Jesus believe they can continue in sin and still apply His sacrifice on the cross to their sins, actually doing just what the Jews did by sin and sacrifice, sin and sacrifice, and they err just as Judas erred. They are yet blinded by their sins, and the ditch is their appointment. Judas was blind and followed after the blind, even in the sight of such a great light. Sin blinds. Unbelief is the sin that blinds. Hatred is the sin that blinds. There is no difference between unbelief and hatred, none.

Jesus said, Not all of you believe. Not all of you are clean. One does not believe. One is unclean. One is yet in sin. One has a devil. All of you are clean, but one, Jesus said.

Right after Jesus had fed the five thousand the Pharisees said, Show us a sign. Give us another miracle. Then we will believe. You could have provided all this bread and fish. Show us something else! Jesus said, The wicked seek for signs and wonders and miracles to believe. The only miracle you shall receive is my resurrection from the dead, He said.

The gospels say that immediately after Jesus sowed the good seeds in the earth, wheat seeds, that tares were sown. And the Apostles said, Should we go and root out the tares? Where did they come from, for you sowed good seed, LORD? Jesus told them, The enemy of the truth has done this. He has sown the false doctrines, and the lies against the truth, and they have brought up tares, unclean doctrines.....hear it again, and be unblinded. Right in the beginning, in the beginning were tares and lies and false doctrines sown into the truth, the pure gospel of Jesus Christ and the Apostles were hearing of all of these doctrines and sayings that were being told everywhere, knowing fully well that they were not what Jesus had taught them. And ........ Jesus said. Let them be until the ending of the world and the tares, the lies, the false doctrines shall be gathered out from midst the pure wheat, the pure doctrines, the pure truth, and shall be bundled for burning, along with all those blind that have followed after the blind. Jesus left us a measuring reed to measure doctrine and the words of men, His words! He said, My words and my words alone shall judge every doctrine and every soul, only my words.

Jesus said, let the tares, the lies and the false doctrines, and the wheat, the pure truth and clean doctrines, grow until the ending of the world, and the anointing that shall be sent into the world shall gather out the tares from the Kingdom, all those doctrines and lies that offend the Father, for if you gather out the tares now, perhaps you yourselves would uproot some precious pure wheat, not being able to discern rightly yourselves the tares from the wheat, the pure from the impure, the truth from the lies. For when Jesus spoke those words, the new testament was not yet written, nor the gospels recorded of His words that there might be a pure measuring reed with which to measure doctrine. All that was available at that time was the old testament and all of its writings and the Apostles would have erred in judgment, Jesus not having yet been crucified and raised from the dead, nor was the Holy Ghost yet given.

First the words and sayings of Jesus had need to be written down, to be recorded, written, and the new testament likewise, written down, recorded. The total new testament with its pure doctrines had need to be written. The gospels had need to be written. And likewise, the tares and false doctrines also had to be written down, and recorded. So now, the tares are written and recorded everywhere and they are literally choking out the wheat, the pure WORDS of Jesus Christ, and the pure words of the new testament. The words of Jesus, the measuring reed, shall stand as a rock, and all else shall be as sand that crumbles and is washed away by the Spirit of truth. Now comes the sorting, the sifting, the blowing away of the chaff from the wheat, the threshing floor, where the truth shall come forth as golden harvested heads of pure wheat, and the tares shall be gathered out to be burned. So, here we are, at the ending. And seeing as the tares were immediately sown into the wheat field, and ever since the crucifying and resurrection of Christ the tares and the wheat have been in the earth growing together, in the very same field, both now ready for the harvesting, we must with all diligence learn, trust, and obey the words of Jesus and the new testament, that our souls stand upon the rock of His gospel, and not on the sands of the earth that shall be washed away in the downpour of the Spirit of the Living GOD. Revelation itself was written, a message sent down from the heavens to the Apostle John, to record for us the final destiny and the appearance of the harvest field so filled with tares and with wheat.

Jesus said ....... Matt. 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock… 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

I believe in religious freedom, for without religious freedom, no soul would have opportunity to seek after the truth and find it. I believe totally in religious freedom for everyone. I believe in religious freedom! It is GOD who does not! All living flesh must allow religious freedom, for it is that allowing that shelters the truth, that is an umbrella of safety over the truth, that is a fence around the truth that it not be destroyed in the earth totally by those who deem faiths and religions are wrought by man as though the created can create the creator! Man can neither create nor destroy anything!

It is the truth that suffers persecution. It is righteousness that is hated. It is the truth and righteousness that is hated in the earth, and loved by those who are saved by it. Christ Jesus had no purpose whatsoever to come to this earth and die on Golgotha, if GOD were the author of religious freedom! So who therefore is the author of religious freedom? It is not GOD! Every soul has freedom of choice. He can choose life in Christ Jesus, or death in the other fellow! He can choose the living water of Christ Jesus, or the burning flames of the other fellow! That is man's only freedom of religion!

It is hard. It is straight. It is narrow. Few find it. And fewer yet will believe what they find! Father in the name of Jesus, I pray, that every word spoken here is standing on the rock, and my feet not imbedded in sand.
Amen.

Martha
