TORONTO SPECIAL OLYMPICS and the CHRIS BOSH FOUNDATION present our 4th Annual TSO BOWLING FUNDRAISER! Saturday, March 31, 2007 NEWTONBROOK BOWLERAMA 5837 Yonge Street (just north of Finch) North York, ON (416) 222-4657 REGISTRATION AT 1:00 PM Bowling AT 1:30 PM Our Bowling Fundraiser will have up to 31 teams of four participants who will bowl three games alongside Special Olympic athletes. There will be prizes for top scorers and fundraisers and also many other activities during the afternoon. Can your team achieve the high score and raise the most money for our athletes? You are invited to organize a team of 4 bowlers to participate in this event. Each team will be joined by two Special Olympic athletes. Each team will bowl three games. Come out and bowl with us!!!!!! Team prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place teams, top fundraisers. Individual awards and door prizes will also be given away. Entry fee is $100 ($25/person) for each 4 person team (shoes included) plus minimum $75 in pledges per person on the day of the event. Receipts will be issued for donations over $10. Entry and Pledge forms can be downloaded above or can be mailed out. You will be contacted to confirm registration. The mission of the Chris Bosh Foundation is to promote education, social enrichment and physical fitness. The foundation will assist youth in establishing higher education by providing SAT/PSAT preparation; reading, writing and math clinics; and clinics on how to study. The foundation will emphasize the importance of healthy living by providing athletic camps and classes on eating healthy for life. The foundation will also provide scholarships to youth. www.chrisboshfoundation.org Special Olympics mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
