TORONTO METRO LEAFS WIN GOLD AT THE NATIONALS!


The Toronto Metro Leafs floor hockey team took the GOLD MEDAL in a thrilling 4-3 victory over British Columbia. The team was down 3-0 but managed to rally for 4 goals to win the game and the national title.

The Special Olympics Winter National Games were held in Charlottetown, PEI from February 16-22. During the event, one of the worst blizzards ever to hit the Maritimes struck Charlottetown. It is a great credit to the event organizers and the athletes for managing to complete their games.
