Co-organized the February, 2005 "Fun-d-raiser for the Toronto Special Olympics" ( www.torontospecialolympics.com ). Emceed by TVO's Mary Ito! Afternoon Event included complimentary Hors D'Oeuvres, performances by Comedians, Juggler/Variety Entertainer, Illusionist, Hypnotist, Elvis Impersonator...Silent Auction Table, Balloon Pops, Door Prizes and a SurPrize(!) Grand Door Prize. Thanks to much-appreciated support, the 2005 Fun-d-raiser was able to raise $9,000.00+ in much-needed funds, enabling special athletes with mental disabilities to have continued sports training, programs and tournaments. Co-organized the 2004 "Fun-d-raiser for the Toronto Special Olympics". A fun-filled Sunday afternoon in February that included a variety of entertainment (comedians/magician/variety entertainer/hypnotist/Elvis impersonator), complimentary hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, balloon pops and door prizes, and raised $9,100.00 for the TSO!!
