We made a large Spider that was manually controlled on a pulley. Leading to the "Lair" were large webs and the remnants of the prior victims. The prop operator stood behind the black material behind the web in the photos, which of course was not visible at night. A fog machine filled in the area just enough and when that Spider dropped, you could hear the screams back at the house !!
