Confirmation preparation began in September with family interviews. Weekly sessions began in October. Fifty eight of the 105 Confirmation candidates attended our Parish Retreat in December. Bishop Sullivan requires that all Confirmation candidates participate in a retreat before Confirmation. Our preparation sessions met on Sunday evenings in Herbert Hall. Dinner began at 6:00 PM, the sessions ran from 6:30 - 8:00 PM and included a speaker and small group sessions. For those interested in preparing for Confirmation in 2001, a letter will be sent to all registered parishioners who have a child in 10th grade or higher who has not been Confirmed. The letters will go out in August and outline the process for preparation. The packet will include a calendar for preparation as well as a registration form. May 14 - Confirmation Rehearsal with candidate and sponsor. 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the Church of the Epiphany. Mon. May 15 - Music Rehearsal. 6:00 PM at the Church of the Epiphany Confirmation Mass. 7:30 PM Reception immediately following Mass.
