Any '69 Coupe owner out there?

Heh Heh!

Well, here they are. Pictures of the Stang are below. Thanks to my sister, Doris, for letting me borrow the scanner. Check back from time to time to check for progress.

The first official sound of the car. Click the link to hear the car run. Notice the gear drive. Its pretty cool!

THE CAR RUNNING

NEW PICS OF THE CAR AT THE BODY SHOP BEFORE AND AFTER
Better ones on the way.

OLD PIC OF THE CAR

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

11/26/00...ITS BACK!! And it looks awesome! Its actually better than I thought. Now the interior and engine looks like crap compared to the paint. :( New pictures as soon as possible.

5/27/00...Its in Nasville, hopefully getting worked on. I just told'em to call when its done. Based on the looks of the other cars they have painted, it should look real sweet. Also, I have put the Mach 1 scoop on, rear spoiler and front spoiler....sweeeeeet. While driving it to the paint shop, a punk in a Jap car passed me. You don't how bad I wanted to.....

4/12/00...Well, I gave up on painting, I'm taking it to a pro, Kwaitaski's Body shop in Nashville, Illinois. Say that 10 times fast!! When it gets back, new bumpers, wing and spoiler and I should be ready to make some Goodyear smoke signals!!! Nothin' like a small block in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/21/99...Paiting still sucks, but, it's running and I love driving it! Of course, it will never be done. It's going into hibernation now. The few weeks I drove it was a dream come true. 4 years have FINALLY paid off!

9/1/99...Ok I ain't a painter. I've had people tell me it looks good, I thing they're being nice.

8/28/99...PAINTING.......SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

8/2/99...OK, I just sprayed the first coats of clear over black PPG paint. Looks good. Estimate completion in 3 to 4 weeks. My set goal is to have it cruisin' on Friday the 13th. I don't know if thats good or bad!?

6/1/99...Man, I haven't updated forever, here goes. The car is somewhat together, (see picture), I have drove it, no hood and all, and she runs great. A few minor bugs to work out and body work, and I'll be ready to go. I hear alot of "yeah right"s out there. We'll see I guess.

12/25/98...Yep, its Christmas and WAY too cold to work on the car. As of today, the car runs, rolls, the whole nine yards. I even took it down the road a few times. (Without front fenders. haha) Work will resume when it gets a tad warmer. New pictures....I promise.

8/16/98...Well, the dash is out and all the wires are being replaced. After attempting to start the thing for the first time I realized I had a serious electrical problem. Should be reassembled in the next day or two. New pictures coming soon!

Update-7/27/98...The trans. is in and ready to go now. Start putting on headers, carb. etc. tomorrow.

Update-7/18/98...The engine is in and the transmission is being rebuilt after a little accident by yours truly. If your gonna put the transmission on a block, be sure the torque convertor is all the way in..oops! Pictures will be available as soon as possible. Things "SHOULD" start to pick up now.
