Steelers Still Have A Shot
Think
the Steelers don't have a great playoff shot? Well they may not have as
good as people would linke but it's probably better than you think. Heres
what has to happen:
-
Obviously the Steelers have to win
their
to games. This week's game should be fairly easy. The loss against the
Bengals the first time around was a fluke thanks to "Kneel" O'Donnel but
the Steelers should finally come around against this poor team. The Steelers
will then travel to Jacksonville for a Monday Nighter. At the begining
of the season this looked like it may be for the AFC Central Championship
in the last week of the season. It's not going to be for the division crown
but it is a must win game. The Steelers managed to beat the Jags in their
fist meeting, hopefully they will do it again. The one thing that may come
in to play is that this game isn't in Pittsburgh.
-
The banged-up New England Patriots
will have to lose their last two games agianst an always tough San Fran
team and to the division rival NY Jets.
-
Tennesse must also lose their last
two games. They play the Packers and Minnesota. I think they will lose
both these games buit I wish they taken care of this team earlier.
If all this happens
the Steelers will end up in the playoffs once again. But do they deserve
to be there? Here is what Jerome Bettis had to say, "
"I really don't think about our
playoff chances, because the way we're playing right now, we don't deserve
to be in the playoffs. So, even if we get in the playoffs, I think we would
do it a disservice by being there if we can't score points."
Interesting stuff.
We'll just have watch and see what happens.
