1. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN
Needless to say, the rattlesnake is the man factor what wrestling is today. As fas as the US's culture goes, he will be 'over'. He is the Hogan of 90's. His mic work is absolutely fascinating and help flushing millions of audiences to tune in to watch WWF and bring WWF to another climax after Hogan's era. Unlike the old & fading Hogan, he needs not to say prayers and give vitamins, he just needs to go out to kick somebody's ass including his own boss. Despite his great mic skill and charisma, SCSA is very energetic in the ring although i personally think that he is not as good as when he just won KOTR1996 and had feud with Bret Hart.
2. MANKIND
Although Stone Cold said that he is the toughest SOB in the WWF, i want to honour Mr Foley with this name. Mankind is the hardcore king and always will be. Foley is so dedicated to wrestling that he even risks his own life to entertain the fans. Just look at what he did in KOTR 98. Do you think other wrestler will do that? No!!! So, please chant 'Foley! Foley!...', 'Socko! Socko!...' or whatever to show respect to Mankind. Give him a chance coz he deserves it! Hopefully, Mankind rulez 1999 just like SCSA did in 1998. Bang! Bang!
3. DEGENERATION X
'TWO WORDS S*CK IT!'. This stable is the funniest, most energetic and entertaining stable ever stepping in the wrestling business. All of them have great mic skills and attract every fan. With just merely 5 members (HHH, X PAC, NAO & CHYNA), their popularities overcome the popularities of nWo. They did lots of interesting stuff in WWF. For examples, their invasion to the WCW and the impersonation of Nation r superb and classical!!! So, r u ready?If you dont like Degeneration X, I got two words for ya, S*CK IT!
4. THE UNDERTAKER
UT IS over since he stepped into WWF about 10 years ago back in 1990.He gave us lots of memorable matches in WWF. The phenom is a rare wrestler who can span from the old generation of WWF to the new generation of WWF. He needs not to have belt over his shoulder to be popular. His ability to work great match is no doubt one of the best in this business. Due to him, WWF has more options in the creative match style like casket match, Bolier Room Brawl(if I'm not mistaken. This match happened in 1996), Hell In the Cell and Buried Alive. Without him, WWF will not survive until today.
5. NEW AGE OUTLAWS
Several years ago, they were still jobbers. When they first formed NAO, only a few people thought they would be successful including me. However, they've proven all the critics are wrong. They are the most popular tag team ever in the business. Everytime they do the stuff, I'll be crazy. 'Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages, Degeneration X proudly brings to you, it's the tag team champions of the world......., the Road Dog Jesse James, Bad Ass Billy Gunn, the New Age Outlaws!' 'And Of course, if u knocked out with the New Age Outlaws, we got two words for you! S*ck it!' Nobody can have better fans' participations like them. These two young and talented athletes still have long ways to go as they are very young.
6. SHAWN MICHAELS
Whether you all like it or not, this guy is the showstopper, the icon and the main eventer in this industry. He is the best worker when he is in 100%. He can carry any wrestling organization. During his reign as the WWF champ, he brought us many great main events. Personally, I enjoyed every match of his. Now, he is back. Although he is not 100% yet, I cant wait to see him back in the ring again. I know that 1998 is a 'hot' year for wrestling but it's imcomplete without HBK's presence. When he's in 100%, surely he will be topping my top ten list.
7. THE ROCK
He is the third generation superstar of the WWF. The Rock was a babyface in the WWF when he first landed his feet on WWF. Then, surprisingly he joined Farooa's NOD to become one of the top heels in WWF. Since that, he was so over. When he faced HHH in Summerslam 98, we still could clearly hear 'Rocky sucks!' chants all over the arena. After several weeks, his popularity could even threaten SCSA's. In Survivor Series 98, he got the gold and became Corporate's ass. As you can see, he shifts from top heel to top face and back to top heel again. the best damn champ is capable of doing both characters.His moves are superb.'People's elbow' (Oh sorry! Now It's)'Corporate's elbow' and the Rock Bottom are very intriguing. So , you all better know your damn role and shut your mouth, or The Rock's gonna lay a smack on ya!
8. AL SNOW
When this guy first appeared in WWF as Avatar, I didnt have any special feeling because he was masked. I just thought that he was a normal wrestler with some scientific skills. I started to appreciate this guy since he wrestled as Leif Cassidy. He had all the charismas needed but he didn't have good ginmick until he was changed into Al Snow. With this slightly mad gimmick with head, I enjoy watching every match of his. He's also one of the perfect example of the turning of jobber into roster. In this business, u need to work hard to be tough guy although sometimes odds seem to be against u. What does everybody want? 'HEAD'
9. KEN SHAMROCK
This guy is no doubt a guy suitable for wrestling . He is so tough and maybe the future for WWF. Ken is the natural-born fighter. Nobody can has great intensity of his in the ring. One thing that he needs to improve is his mic skill. The other shortcoming of Ken Shamrock is his finishing move. His finishing move is somewhat lame which look so simple and not harmful at all. Well, I've criticised him for so many stuff but overall he's a few wrestler who wrestles well in the ring although many said that he is just a jackass.
10. GOLDUST
I think that Goldust is doing what he likes in WWF. Goldust is the bizzarrest character in WWF. When he reappeared in WWF, we knew that he will do better this time. I guarentee you that he will grasp gold in years 1999. I never think of a super nice guy in WCW would become a guy like Goldust . So, you know that Goldust is very versatile.
