Runabout- The Starfleet Runabout has a maximum speed of warp four. The armaments consist of phasers, micro torpedoes, and standard shields. Origionally this vessel was classified as a short range interstaller vessel. The first ones were launched in the year 2366.

Defiant Class- The Defiant Class Starship has a maximum speed of warp 8.5. If it goes any faster, the stress could rupture the structural containment fields. It has armaments of, photon torpedoes, quantum torpedoes, multi-targeting phaser banks, shields (also has ability to cloak), and ablative hull armor. The Defiant Class are classified as Federation War Ships. This ship can support a crew of about fifty. The first ship (U.S.S. Defiant) was launched in 2371. The Defiant was a prototype. It was suppose to be the start of a new Federation battle fleet against the Borg. However there were design flaws which made Starfleet drop the project. But now dozens were made to be used against the Dominion.

U.S.S. Promethius- This ship was constructed in the year 2374 as an experimental prototype. It has a speed of Warp 9.9. Its weapons consist of phasers, photon torpedoes, quantum torpedoes, shields, ablative hull armor, and multi-vector assult mode. The multi-vector assult mode is a new part of Starfleet ship design. When this ship is in danger of being attacked or destroyed, the ship can launch two other ships located on the on the top and bottom part of the ship. When the ships are launched, attack programs are programmed into the computer, and specific targets can be locked. When that happens, all is lost (well for the other side anyway)!!! This ship is used for long range tactical operations.

Intrepid Class- The Intrepid Class Starship has a maximum speed of warp 9.975. It has a minimum compliment of photon torpedoes, phasers, and standard shields. Origionally this ship was classified as a scout ship. Launched in the year 2371, this ship is the first one to have landing, and take off capabilities. The computer processors consist of bio-neural gel pack to speed up computer response time faster than standard isolinear processors.

Galaxy Class- The Galaxy Class is one of the largest types of starships built by the Federation. it has forty-two decks, reaching speeds of warp 9.9. It has weapons of thirteen phaser banks, 295 photon torpedoes, and a high capacity shield grid. This ship can seperate into a sauser, and battle section. This only happens in extreme battle situations, or evacution procedures. The frst ones were launched in 2363.

Excelsior Class- This class of starship has been used since the late 23rd century. Maximum warp has been increased from warp eight to warp 9 in the past century. The weapons are basically the same. Phasers, photon torpedoes, and now have the addition of quantum torpedoes. This ship appears to be one of the most common types of ships right now.

Nebula Class- Nebula Class Starships have a maximum speed of warp 9.6. It has armaments of phasers, photon torpedoes, and standard shields. This vessel can be used for a variety of missions.

Shuttle Craft- Each shuttle craft has a maximum speed of warp four, and has standard shields, and phasers. Each vessel is equiped with a certain number of shuttle craft depending on the size of the ship. They also have landing and take off capabilities.

Miranda Class- Miranda Classe Starships were used in the late 23rd century. They have a maximum speed of warp eight, and it has weapons consisting of phasers, photon torpedoes, and standard shields. Some classes do have simular designs such as Soyuse Class. But those haven't been used in almost a century either.

Federation Fighters- The maximum speed of the fighters are unknown but are armed with phasers, photon torpedoes, and standard shields. They were first launched in 2374 when the Dominion War started. Most of them travel in groups of three or five.

Constitution Class- The Constitution Class Starship was used throughout the 23rd century. It was armed with phasers, photon torpedoes, and standard shields. It has a crew of 430. It has classic duatronic sensor arrays, and the computers are duatronic as well. This ship has an estimated speed of about warp eight.
